Yew Tee Outstanding Community Service Award
The Yew Tee Awards recognise community/ grassroots members in Yew Tee who have made extraordinary efforts or displayed exemplary attitude of selflessness in their service to their grassroots organisations (GROs), and have shown excellent performance in the Constituency’s activities.

This yearly annual awards, in the form of a certificate and a momento, will be presented during one of the Yew Tee Major Constituency Events.

Yew Tee Awards Committee
The Awards Committee shall receive nominations, evaluate/ deliberate, and recommend award recipients for approval by the Adviser.

 

The Awards Committee comprises of

Nominations - Yew Tee Outstanding Community Service Award
Nominations should be supported by the documents that recorded the decision of the respective GRO or recommended by Head/ Chairman of the Organisation. Each GRO is allowed a maximum of 2 nominations the Awards Committee shall recommend to the Advisor for approval and each grassroots member/ recipient shall receive the award once.

Nomination Criteria
All shall consider the following in their nominations for the Award and the Awards Committee may, at its discretion, request for supporting documents.

· Attendance in committee meetings;
· Participation in Yew Tee GRO’s activities/ events/ functions;
· Ability in organising activities/ events/ functions;
· Ability to motivate or co-operate with other members;
· Ability to raise funds for the GRO;
· Relationship with members of other GROs;
· Willingness to help other GROs;
· Involvement in Constituency’s projects;
· Reliability in Administration; and
· Years of service in Yew Tee (minimum of 2 years).


Nomination Results
The recommendation of the Awards Committee shall be final and no appeals will be entertained.
