The Combat Profiteering Committee in Yew Tee was setup to deal with any complaints of profiteering or unjustified price increases due to the implementation of GST. The committee work with our advisors, grassroots organisations and all committees in the constituency, especially with the market committees and shopkeepers’ associations, to monitor the situation on the ground, and encourage hawkers and shopkeepers to act responsibly.
