Important Notes: To all cycling participants
1. For the safety of all participants, please be aware of the following:
(a) No helmet, No ride. It is compulsory to wear helmet at all time throughout your ride.
(b) Ride on the Left, Overtake on the Right.
(c) Time trial bikes, bikes with disk wheels and bikes with aero bars are not allowed for this
event.
(d) Motorized vehicles, motorbikes, unicycles, tandem bikes and scooters are strictly not allow
on the routes.
(e) Kid’s bikes with training wheels are allow only in mass walk. They are NOT allowed in any
of the 3 cycling event.
(f) Participants of cycling event are not allowed to listen to MP3 Players, iPods, walkmans or
mobile phone while riding.
2. Riders of mass cycling will be escorted by AETOS motorcycles as well as lead and rear vehicles. Any riders who are unable to continue by race officials will be asked to board the rear/broom vehicles. In addition, there will be mobile first aid during the 5km ride.
3. All participants of EDC and competitive cycling will be issue with timing chips. Participants are to take care of the chip and handle with care. They must be returned after crossing the finishing line. Please ensure you hand in your timing chip before leaving the finish area. Participant will be charge S$140 for any damage or lost chip.
